INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

We DO NOT follow any school systems.

When a decision has been made to close early, the facility staff will notify us, and we will in turn make a decision as to whether or not to cancel practice or move it to an earlier time. That information is usually sent out by about 1:00 - 2:00 pm. There are times, unfortunately, when the message does not get to you in time and you make an unnecessary trip to the pool. When there is a possibility of inclement weather we suggest that parents check their email often, or at least be in touch with another family who has access to email.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE refrain from calling the facility. Understand that they have to call pool staff, along with other facility programs to notify them of changes. Add to that the general public calling every few minutes. The last thing they need are parents and swimmers from three swim clubs calling to check on practice changes. They notify us of early closings, we then make a decision as to whether or not to hold practice, then we notify you.

Ultimately, if you're not comfortable driving, then don't. Simple as that.
