RED II group requirements
Attendance recommendations.
First year swimmers 3 - 4 workouts per week
High school freshmen / Sophomores 4 - 6 workouts per week
High school Juniors / Seniors 5 - 7 workouts per week
NB There are no minimum attendance requirements. The above are only recommendations.
Based on individual goals, the coach may adjust the above attendance recommendations.
Training standards for this group are as follows (4 of the 6 required):
1) 8 x 100’s 1:20
2) 12 x 50’s 1:00 Kick
3) 8 x 100’s 1:40 Stroke
4) 5 x 200’s 2:45
5) 3 x 200’s 2:45 IM
6) 3 x 500’s 6:45
Event standards (3 of the 5 required)
1) 400 / 500 Free Under 5:30 / 6:20
2) 800 / 1000 Free
3) 400 IM
4)3 of the 6 Stroke events (Fly, Back, and Breast)
5) 200 IM under 2:30
